Paris Hilton/Celebrities/Rap
Hello my friends, its been a while since ive last posted. This time I really hope to keep up the posts! I hope you're having a great summer. Well as noticed in the Title, I'm going to be talking about Paris Hilton/Celebrities and rap. First off, why is everyone making a gigantic deal about Paris Hilton going to jail? For a week all I saw on the news channels were "Paris Hilton goes to jail!" I want real news like the Iraq war, the rising gas prices, etc. I don't want to hear "extensive" coverage on Paris Hilton going to jail. But by going to jail I believe she has found GOD. She recently said something like "All of that dumb thing was just an act, but now GOD has given me a second chance." I really hope this statement is true and that shes not trying to draw attention to herself with it, because this would be a great accomplishment for her if she gave up her act. Remember, all celebrities get sucked into what they do and don't really care about anything else, and they bask in all of the money and popularity so they want to keep that going for them. Third topic, Rap. Im not talkin about the good rap like Christian rap and some non Christian rap that isn't bad, i'm talking about the Eminem, T.I., and Young Jeezy kind've rap. They just rap about cash, women, and all the materialistic things. This is reeeeaaallly bad for them if they want a chance in getting to Heaven because in the Bible JESUS says to sell everything. Now He doesn't really mean everything He means all of the materialistic things that you don't need to live. Don't be fooled by what rap stars are really saying and dont think it's okay because it most definately is not right! Listen to the 116 clique (Lecrae, Trip Lee, Tedashii) because they rap with the same tempo but dont talk about nasty stuff like T.I., young jeezy, and T Pain do.
I'm going to end this with some Bible verses from Lecrae's album "After The Music Stops."
Romans 1:16-I am not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of GOD that brings salvation to everyone who believes.
Proverbs 27:17- As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. (Meaning we need to preach the word of GOD to everyone.)

This post (like all of the others) sounds really convincing. It's actually pretty interesting... other people who try to do what you do sometimes make everything to long and confusing. I don't think there is anything wrong with something being huge, but you have to make it so you want to read it.
That's exactly what you did... it's medium-large, sweet, and to-the-point.
116 is a compliation album isn't it? There was an add for it in Lecrae's "Real Talk" CD. But it said 116 was a group of people who worked to spread GOD's good news. It said anyone who does this is part or 116... so I guess we are.
But have you listened to that album... because I haven't yet?
This is getting longer than your semi-medium-xl post... so I'll wait for a response.

Before I thought the 116 clique was just a group of Christian rappers but you're probably right about it. I haven't listened to the album but ive heard one song that goes like bear some fruit or something. Thankx for the comment and i really want to try to keep the posting up this time.

The 116 Clique compilation album is made up of a few different rappers: Lecrae, Sho, Tedashi, Thi'sl, and Json. But there are a lot of others in 116.
